Jazz infused coffee shop house.
Kabutomushi - Mei Semones
My favorite new artist of 2024. Her website states, "Mei Semones is an artist creating jazz influenced indie pop songs..." which I think actually understates the jazz element in her songwriting.
Yard - Slow Pulp
Indie rock band from Madison, WI. Sort of upbeat shoegaze-y and also reminiscent of early 2000's rock. This is an album I'd happily play beginning to end and repeat when it's over. This and their other album, "Moveys" have been great for WFH.
