tricot on Audiotree Live

Counting time signatures makes my head hurt but their melodies are chefs kiss. Super impressed at how good they sound live on this Audiotree session.

Just One Cookbook - Fried Rice

Just One Cookbook is one of my favorite recipe collections. Very easy to make, minimal seasonings (but still flavorful), and the protein/vegetables can be substituted to your heart's desire. Having the right rice makes a difference, though. Check out the other recipes too!

How Well Can You Hear Audio Quality

While working on a longer post about my brief foray into the audiophile hobby, I came across this nifty test from NPR that presents the listener with a bunch of song snippets of varying fidelity. You have to choose which clip you think is the highest quality audio.

Differences in quality may be imperceivable to most people and is limited by either their headphones/speakers and/or their own ears. In my own experience, I can discern between a 128kbps MP3 and a 320kbps MP3 pretty easily but I won't be be able to reliably pick between a 320kbps MP3 and a lossless encoding such as FLAC or WAV.
